Bulletin Boards 101: The Special Kind

So here it is the last post on bulletin boards...
Just a quick reminder...  all bulletin boards fit into one of three categories:  Necessary, Curriculum, and Special.  Special bulletin boards are those boards that highlight a special class project, event or are seasonal in nature.  (In my opinion, these are often the types of boards that are the most fun to make!)  When creating a special bulletin board be sure to provide a title.  Here are  some examples of special bulletin boards.

Use a large piece of butcher paper as the backdrop for a bulletin board.
This oil pastel is the cover folder for a fall writing project.
I enjoy doing class oil pastel drawings a few times throughout the year.  They are colorful and easy to do!
This bulletin board focused on transportation forms.  The cards are are student quotes about their pictures.
Pairing art projects with writing pieces help create a print rich classroom.
Final Tips:
Always give your bulletin board a title or heading!
Create Special boards if you have extra time!
